Mentoring vs Coaching

Mentoring Structure for first meeting: 1) Why did you join Toastmasters 2) Review Navigator (about the program, encourage going to link....keep my copy) 3) Encouraging goal setting, role sign-up, icebreaker sign-up asap Send "Protege Self-Assessment" after first meeting - follow up meeting will occur only if protege fills it out.  (more formal contract as well?)  Protege should still drive process and frequency of meetings, but need to set expectation up front so no one is taken advantage of. Pathways Mentor Program: Advanced Mentoring project - speech Speech - outline, prepare, deliver Certification - meet w/ Sarah to review checklist.  Dual purpose to structure club mentoring program.
